Blow Your Own Glass
Get up-close and personal with our hands-on glassblowing experiences!
Our Blow Your Own (BYO) glass events are the ideal way to dip your toe into the world of glassblowing and are brief (10-20 minute) sessions where you can design and assist in the creation of your own unique glass item. We offer drinkware, home decor, seasonal items, and more during our Blow Your Own glass experiences and are always coming up with new designs.
Appointments are required to attend our BYO sessions and can be made by visiting our booking site.
All items made at our studio are annealed, or cooled down, overnight and are ready for pickup as soon as the following day. We can also ship your finished item for an additional shipping fee. Items made at other venues are cooled down on-site and are ready for pickup within an hour of being made.
BUSINESSES: Our portable equipment allows us to conduct BYO experiences on-site. If you’re looking to spice up your events and would like to host us at your location, give us a shout at muffinjawdesigns@gmail.com!
Date Night
Heat things up with our hot glass date nights!
Our date nights are one-hour long sessions for 1-2 people. Each person will have the opportunity to get ultra hands-on and experiment with molten glass during the first half of the session. For the latter part of the session our team is there to assist and guide you through the creation of your own glass item(s) of your choosing.
We host public date night events each month (excluding ultra hot months). Be sure to follow us on social media to see when these become available. We also offer private date nights throughout the year.

Field Trips/Demonstrations
Our team offers both in-studio AND on-site glassblowing demonstrations with our portable equipment. These are perfect as a STEAM-related field trip, Girl/Boy Scout activity, or entertainment for art festivals, group tours, or special parties. Our glassblowing demonstrations are for spectating only and focus on traditional glassblowing techniques and applied arts and science. Please contact us for site requirements, availability, and pricing.
A minimum 4 hour demonstration is required for all on-site events/festivals. Cost may be partially or fully waived in certain circumstances.
Private Events
We provide a unique and engaging glassblowing experience that is perfect for office or birthday parties, team-building exercises, family gatherings and more! Our team of professional glassblowers offers several types of single-day event options at our downtown studio to suit your interests.

Ashes in Glass
Artfully preserve your loved one with our memorial glass pieces. With our Ashes in Glass service, cremated ashes are encased in hot glass, sealing your treasured family member, friend, or pet forever in various forms and designs. These timeless keepsakes can be cherished long after the passing of your beloved and serve as a beautiful reminder of their life.

Unity Ceremonies
Celebrate the joining of lives with glass! Our studio offers free Unity Ceremony consultations where you can come to our studio to browse our glass collection and select your desired color(s) for your own special piece. Glass frit (or small bits of glass) can be used during your ceremony to symbolize the union and brought back to our studio where you can help create your unique, one-of-a-kind glass decor.
